Grant Program Overview

GOal

The Johnston County Education Foundation (JCEF) Grant Program aims to support Johnston County Public School (JCPS) faculty and staff by providing funding for resources not typically covered by standard school budgets.

Eligibility

This grant is open to all full-time Pre-K through 12th-grade educators in Johnston County Public Schools. Funds may be used for a variety of projects and materials that enhance student learning. Grants must be utilized within the designated timeline set by the Johnston County Education Foundation and within the school year in which they are awarded, unless impacted by a systemwide closure.

Grant Criteria

Projects or materials funded through this grant should:

1. Enhance Student Learning – Directly contribute to student engagement and achievement.

2. Demonstrate Impact – Show clear, measurable benefits for students.

3. Be Sustainable – Ensure continued use or long-term value of the funded materials.

4. Be Accountable – Include a detailed plan on how funds will be allocated.

Our Grant Committee will be reviewing applications over the next several weeks, and we hope to have everything finalized by mid-November. Every applicant will be notified once decisions have been made, whether or not your grant is selected for funding this year.
