The Johnston County Education Foundation once again hosted the Dream Big for Education Gala in 2023! The event was held on Saturday, November 4th at The Farm at 42 located at 1075 Lynch Rd., Selma, NC.

A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, the Johnston County Education Foundation is focused on promoting innovation, involvement, and excellence in the Johnston County Public School System. The funds raised from this event will help JCEF continue its day-to-day operations supporting the teachers, students, and the staff of JCPS. Additionally, it will help us revamp and revitalize our teacher grant program. Through increased funding, we hope to expand the program to support teachers with creative classroom projects, plus support individual students, staff, and school clubs and groups who are committed to our principles. This year, our fundraising goal was $25,000!

The highlight of this year’s event was music by Band of Oz! Throughout the evening, guests got to enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and delicious drinks, bid on one of a kind items in our silent auction, and hear guest speakers from Johnston County Public Schools.
