SMITHFIELD — Recently the Johnston County Education Foundation announced its 2025 grant winners.

Lauren McCall, from Polenta Elementary, is the Barnhill Grant Winner, the Flame for Education Grant winner is Princeton High School’s Sharon Mohiser, the Merv Sessom Grant winner is Pine Level Elementary’s Jennifer Bare and the Merv Sessom and Marty & Heather Moser Grant award winner is Stacy Holloman, from Pine Level Elementary.
