Public funding alone is not enough to provide our students and educators the opportunities they deserve to be successful. Through your generosity, the Johnston County Education Foundation is able to enhance both the teacher and student experience in our schools. Donate as an Honorary Gift

Scholarships

You can contribute to the Johnston County Education Foundation in honor of your favorite Johnston County Public Schools teacher. Simply send your tax-deductible contribution to the address above.

Please indicate the name and address (or the current school where he or she works) of the teacher you wish to honor, and we’ll notify that teacher of your generosity. Honorarium funds will be used to support classroom grants in our schools.

Memorial Gifts

Many of us have special people in our lives who have made a real difference — educators, family and friends. The Johnston County Education Foundation is now providing a way for you to remember those special people who have touched your life. Your contribution through a memorial gift to the Johnston County Education Foundation is a way to honor the memory of a person who positively impacted your life. We utilize these contributions for our grant programs, so the funds help teachers find new and innovative ways to educate our young people.

Establish a Scholarship

You may establish an annually funded scholarship to be awarded at a Johnston County Public Schools high school of your choice — or to a recipient chosen from all of the county’s high schools. The minimum annual scholarship award for a new scholarships is $500.
